The Maze Runner series is an absolute page-turner. James Dashner masterfully ends his chapters with foreshadowing and cliffhangers, and he never relents, never shifts down a gear. The whole series is a rollercoaster of emotional highs and soul-crushing lows. Every time our characters look like they’re about to catch a break, some new thing comes along to flip their world upside down, and eventually the reader starts losing trust altogether.
